What to do in the Desert in July ... Plus information on transportation. It's all about having fun!

A World-Renowned Destination

"It is the sublime setting that first attracts. Towering mountains, blue skies, and a near perfect climate set the stage. So it is little wonder why this magical place has become a haven for those seeking resorts, golf, outdoor recreation, and spas that rank among the world's finest."

Scroll below the video to see different categories of information on transportation and things to do. When the new page comes up, then continue to scroll further down the page to view the listings.

Extend your visit to California!
Either before or or after all the Ballroom and Latin dancing, there is a lot to do and see in Palm Desert and the surrounding communities in the Coachella Valley. Take a drive to Orange County (home to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, South Coast Plaza & famous Huntington Beach "Surf City"). Or visit San Diego (with a world-class zoo, it's infamous Gaslamp District and the Wild Animal Park). So if you are thinking of extending your visit, be sure to check out our links to those areas. And, of course, if you are traveling through Los Angeles, you might want to stop at Hollywood and Vine for a little "Star Gazing" at the Hollywood Walk of Fame or visit the Getty Museum with its incredible architecture and collections.
